Financial Advisor striving to put individuals & families in their ideal financial situation, through thoughtful advice.

I was born in Bucharest Romania and emigrated to the US as young boy with my family.  We settled in Crescenta-Canada Valley, and I never really left.  Today my wife, Tara and our boys, Xander and Enzo live in La Crescenta only one mile away from my childhood home.  My community, friends and family have always been most important in my life; and it is surreal to be in my childhood home town with my same friends, raising a family and running a successful wealth management practice within its borders.

I feel truly blessed.

Currently I serve as the Managing Director of investment advisory services at Penniall & Associates.  As in my personal life, I am committed to building a practice on the values of honesty, trust, and dedication. I strive to maintain client-advisor relationships that consists of openness, trust, and mutual understanding. By carefully examining each client’s needs, goals, and expectations we are able to present strategic solutions tailored to specific situations. With the appropriate balance of planning, advice and product implementation, each plan is customized, unique, and confidential for each client.

Along side of my primary job with Penniall, I am also a Schwinn certified indoor cycling instructor with the YMCA of the Foothills.  This allows me the opportunity to share my passion for all things cycling with those around me, and hopefully help others on their journey to getting more fit and healthy.  As an active cyclist, I firmly believe maintaining your health and fitness goals sets you on a better path to financial success.  Along side of teaching indoor cycling classes, I am also a member of the YMCA of the Foothills Board of Directors, where I am able to give back to the community and organization that has shaped my life today.

In my free time, I love camping, cycling, wine tasting and most of all appreciating life.

Business and Personal

Choosing an advisor is challenging, it requires both parties, client and advisor, to take a leap of faith in working together.  Your relationship with your financial or fitness advisors should be grounded in trust.  As such, I want my clients and to know me both personally and professionally.

Who I Serve

I’ve been very fortunate to have a great group of clients for many years. While each client is unique there are a few commonalities that might help you determine if you would also benefit from my services.  Most of my clients have unique or complex planning needs; are wealth creators who are passionate about what they do; are patient, long term investors committed to having a custom asset management plan to work for the rest of the lives – not short term trading that may or may not work; are successful, family oriented, community involved people with life purpose that far exceeds just money and personal belongings.

Financial planning

Most clients benefit from a long-term relationship with a financial planner who is able to address every aspect of their financial life at a comfortable pace. I will help you tackle budgeting, cash management, tax planning, portfolio management, retirement planning, insurance, college savings, or wills and trusts. For most people, life brings many changes—in the economy, your career, health status, births and deaths. Having an ongoing relationship with a financial planner who knows your history, personality, priorities and financial situation is invaluable when important decisions need to be made.

personal fitness

I strongly believe that personal fitness and a disciplined approach to your health directly correlates to your financial fitness.  As an indoor cycling instructor and cycling coach, I work with my clients to establish realistic fitness goals and methods for tracking progress.  Along side of individual coaching, I host weekly cycling classes where we can work hard together to help meet those fitness goals and have fun along the way.
